A big move is coming up. We are heading back to Denmark after almost 6 years in New Zealand. I am looking so much forward to it. I will be working in a fantastic workshop next to some very talented people, check it out here . In September I am exhibiting with some of the finest in Danish glass at Bredgade Kunsthandel , a fantastic way to come back home.

It has been 9 months of living in an earthquake zone, so many big and small earthquakes all the time and though my house and family have coped remarkably well and all damage to the closest to me can be repaired, it has been a time full of stress and waiting and the full repertoire of emotions, has been out at play in extreme form. I haven't worked most of this time, it simply does not work, to put a kiln on with shakes and power cuts. So even if the move has not been planned because of earthquakes (lots of people are leaving because of them), I am keen to get to a place where the ground is still enough for creating.

The last days before we go I am clearing out, packing up and letting go of as much glass from hidden boxes, as possible. So any time this weekend and Monday till Wednesday before 15:00 or after 18:30 there will be sales from the workshop at 2A St. Vincent Terrace, Cashmere - and the glass will start at $5 for little things up to $500 for the biggest, so something for everyone! Tests, samples, oldies and new. Stop by if you are in Christchurch!
